EnergyElephant Recognised Among Ireland’s Top Sustainability Solutions Providers at Green Awards
EnergyElephant was nominated as a finalist in the Green Technology category at Ireland's Green Awards – the country's largest and most prestigious platform for celebrating organisations driving progress in sustainability, environmental excellence, and net-zero strategies, both locally and globally.
At the Green Awards gala ceremony held in Dublin on 24 February 2026, EnergyElephant was one of eight finalists in the hotly contested Green Technology (under 50 employees) category which, at present, includes innovations in both physical technologies and software-based solutions.

Now in its 18th year, the Green Awards is Ireland's largest and most prestigious platform for celebrating organisations driving progress in sustainability, environmental excellence, and net-zero strategies. Highlighting achievements across various sectors, it attracts hundreds of entries and industry leaders, with independent judging by experts from government, academia, and the private sector.
Joe Borza, CEO and co-founder of EnergyElephant: “Competition in our category was fierce, and although we didn’t take home the trophy this time, I am incredibly proud of our team and the software platform we have built together. The Green Awards set the benchmarks that will define the next phase of sustainable growth, so just to be nominated as a finalist, and rub shoulders with so many respected organisations and industry leaders who are shaping the green economy – both locally and globally – is a genuine honour.”
EnergyElephant uniquely bridges two interconnected industries – Energy SaaS and carbon / ESG reporting. A new Decarbonisation Roadmap Tool, which formed the basis for this year's submission, now allows users of the system in any country around the world to quickly and easily accelerate and scale sustainability efforts organisation-wide.
Innovations in physical technologies deliver important operational change, but their environmental impact is increasingly dependent on digital-driven solutions that provide the data visibility required to quantify energy savings, emissions reductions, and return on investment, enabling optimisation over time.
